Egyptian ambassador praises the role of Barzani in the face of injustice and terrorism

President Masoud Barzani received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Iraq, Ahmed Hassan Darwish, and the Egyptian Consul General, in Erbil, Amr Fahmy.

During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador praised the role of President Barzani in the face of injustice and for the development of the Kurdistan Region, he also expressed his thanks to Barzani for his role in the war on terrorism, and wished a prosperous future for the region.

He expressed the desire of Egypt in the development of its relations with the Kurdistan Region in various sectors. The Egyptian ambassador also thanked the people of Kurdistan for receiving the vast amount of refugees.

President Barzani welcomed the guest delegation spoke on the historical relations between the people of Kurdistan and the people of Egypt.

President Barzani also expressed the readiness of the Kurdistan Region to strengthen its relations with the Republic of Egypt in all fields.
