Hawrami: The national accord is a guarantee to solve problems

Hemin Hawrami has stressed that a national reconciliation is the only way to resolve outstanding difficulties during a meeting with the Consul General of the United Kingdom to Kurdistan, Angus McKee, who was received in Salahaddin for talks on the latest political developments in the region.

The head of Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office emphasised on what happened in Kurdistan Parliament meeting on 23 June, stating that the KDP's directions about the problems and ways to address them is a national reconciliation, which is deemed as only way to resolve differences.

For his part, Mr McKee expressed his admiration for the practice of democracy, the role of the KDP in support of this democratic process, and said the UK will continue supporting the Kurdistan region.
