Statement from Barzani Headquarters

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

Today, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Political Bureau convened to address the ongoing issues between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi Federal Government. Dr. Fuad Hussein has returned to Kurdistan after engaging in discussions with various Iraqi political parties. He informed the KDP Political Bureau that these parties, along with the Iraqi Federal Government, have committed to resolving the issues within the coming days.

In light of this commitment and in the interest of fostering a peaceful dialogue, we have decided to grant the Iraqi Federal Government in Baghdad one final opportunity to find a resolution to this matter.
