KDP Delegation meets with Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs

BRUSSELS, A Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation, headed by Hemin Hawrami, held a meeting with Elmar Brok, a Member of European Parliament and the current Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, to discuss the current developments in the Kurdistan Region. It was mentioned by the KDP FR delegation that Peshmerga forces required advanced weaponry in order to destroy Isis capabilities effectively. 

The delegation addressed the relations between Erbil and Baghdad, where it was emphasised that the government in Baghdad is failing to deliver on its commitment to the constitution.

The meeting concluded with the delegation discussing the latest political situation in Kurdistan with Mr Brok, and with Brok stressing the support from the committee to Kurdistan. He also credited the Peshmerga on their victories.
