President Barzani Welcomes Ambassador of Türkiye to Iraq

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, President Masoud Barzani received Ambassador Anil Bora Inan, the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, along with his accompanying delegation, in Salahaddin. The meeting was also attended by Irman Topçu, the Consul General of Türkiye in Erbil.

During the discussions, both sides addressed the political developments in the region and the relationship between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. The peace process in Türkiye was a significant focus of the conversation, with the Turkish Ambassador expressing gratitude to President Barzani for his vital support of the peace process over the years.
