LONDON, During his visit to the Labour Party’s headquarters, Hemin Hawrami, the head of KDP’s FRO and his accompanying delegation were received by Miss Jo Blackman, the head of Labour’s International Liaison, Nabila Sattar, Labour’s International Project Manager, and Kelly-Anne Thomas, Labour’s International Policy Officer.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest. The sides also stressed the importance of enhancing and strengthening relations between the two sides. Hawrami noted the victories of Peshmerga in the war against Daesh, and the insistence of the people of Kurdistan to eradicate terrorism.
The two parties also discussed the latest political and military developments in the region, as well as the influx of refugees into the region.
The head of KDP’s FRO was accompanied by the FRO’s member Sherko Habeb and Kamal Amedi, a local committee official in London.
