A high-ranking delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Fadhil Mirani met with officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry for talks on bilateral and economic relations between the two sides.
On the outset of the meeting, fellow delegate and Head of KDP Foreign Relations Office Hemin Hawrami said in a statement to Rudaw media network that the primary purpose of their visit was to "deliver a message of peace and express the KDP's desire to strengthen political relations with Turkey" while adding that it's wants to continue pledging its support for the peace process.
Mr Hawrami said the delegation also had expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the party raging violence recently in Turkey, calling on all of them to resolve problems through dialogue
The KDP delegation included in the delegation are Safen Dizayee, member of the KDP Leadership Council, Ahmad Kani head of national relations and Abdul-Salam Rashid
