Hawrami praises historical relations between the Kurds and the Czech Republic

Hemin Hawrami, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office, received the General Consul of Czech Republic, Jaroslav Reif, in Erbil.

The meeting consisted of talks between the pair, where Hawrami thanked the Czech Republic for their support towards the people of Kurdistan, in their war against terrorism. Hawrami pointed to the historical relations between the Kurds and the Czech Republic, and stressed the importance of these relationships.

Reif, for his part, praised the Kurdish Pershmerga forces for their bravery, and for their victories against the terrorist organization, ISIS. He also stressed his country’s support for Kurdistan.

He noted the importance of bilateral relations between the two sides and announced his pleaser to visit the KDP FRO.

Two sides ended their meeting with a discussion surrounding the latest political and military developments in the region.
