Statement from the Kurdistan Democratic Party Political Bureau

Today, in the city of Qaladza, we witnessed an unprovoked attack on our office. It was without any justification that the original path of the protest, where the protestors tried to attack the building, the staff, and the Peshmerga guarding the office.

During these difficult times experienced by Kurdistan, there are those that try to complicate the situation further by mixing issues and producing broader disputes. Creating these problems will not solve them; but instead helps the enemies of Kurds, and Kurdistan. Throughout these times, it is the responsibility of everyone to remain calm.  

There are security institutions policing the region that are established to serve and protect the lives of our people, shielding them from aggressors and those who target its headquarters, any attack on civilians or administrative authorities will not go unpunished.
