Hawrami thanks the government of Netherlands for their support towards Kurdistan against ISIS

Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office, Hemin Hawrami, received Mr Joël Voordewind, a member of the Dutch parliament, representing the Christian Union (CU).

Hemin Hawrami thanked the government of the Netherlands for their support against the terrorist organisation, ISIS, on behalf of the KDP.

They discussed the triumphant victories gained by Peshmerga forces on the frontlines, the relations between Erbil and Baghdad, and the contemporary developments regarding the political situation in the Kurdistan Region - where Hawrami stressed that the KDP is determined to maintain its policy to not accept any undemocratic methods and will always maintain their principle that the power is with the people of Kurdistan.

For his part, Voordewind praised the leadership of President Barzani in the fight against terrorism and praised the courage of Peshmerga forces to eradicate terrorism.
