The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Political Bureau, Fadhil Mirani, received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Frank Baker.
Their meeting consisted of talks on the latest military and political situations in the region and discussed the security developments in Iraq and Kurdistan.
Mr Mirani thanked Britain for helping Kurdistan and notably the British Parliament's decision to approve air strikes against the so-called Islamic State.
For his part, Ambassador Baker voiced his support for Kurdistan, and stated the world is looking with respect towards the Peshmerga’s victories, and expressed Britain's continued support for Kurdistan.
