Hawrami takes part in panel presenting Kurdistan frame of concepts at German congress

While participating at the Christian Democratic Union's annual congress in Germany, Hemin Hawrami took part in a political panel debating the war in Syria, on Islamic State terrorist organisation and the future of the Middle East.

Mr Hawrami, head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office, briefed delegates on the latest developments in the Kurdistan region and how the emergence of IS occurred and the military campaigns against them. He also touched on the future of Syria.

On the sidelines of the two-day conference in Karlsruhue, Mr Hawrami met with various participants among them included politicians and diplomats where he conversed on the political spectrum surrounding Kurdistan
