Head of KDP’s FRO Hemin Hawrami receives Vijay Jolly of India’s BJP

 

The Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office, Hemin Hawrami, received Vijay Jolly, a Senior Member of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, for discussions to strengthen relations with Kurdistan and other political developments in the region.

During their meeting, Hawrami expressed his praise for Jolly's visit, and will implement an emphasising position towards developing relations between both parties, and thanked him for an invitation to India.

Jolly, in return, expressed his delight for the visit and admired the peaceful coexistence of Kurdistan and praised the democratic system of Kurdistan, whilst commending the bravery of Peshmerga in preventing the incursion of Daesh terrorists in Kurdish territory. He also highlighted the courage for President Massoud Barzani.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is one of the two major parties in the Indian political system, along with the Indian National Congress.
