Statement from the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party 18 November 2025

Dear citizens,

The Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party affirms that the election process for the sixth round of the Iraqi Federal Parliament, held on 11 November 2025, was conducted in a democratic, free, orderly, and transparent manner, in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines. After completing all legal procedures, the Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) officially announced the final results.

We have recently heard rumors alleging tampering with the election results, particularly the final results. We categorically reject any tampering with or alteration of the results—especially the final tally. This is a red line for us.

Should the results officially announced by the IHEC be altered in any way, our political response will be firm and resolute.
