KDP delegation visit Beijing for talks bilateral relations

By official invitation from the ruling Communist Party of China, a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s is visiting Beijing for talks with government representatives focusing on bilateral relations and discussed issues of mutual concern.

The KDP delegation, headed by Ribwar Yalda, member of the Political Bureau they conveyed the greetings of President Massoud Barzani and the KDP Leadership Council, while reviewing relations between Kurdistan and China and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sides. The Chinese government is especially interested in the areas of scientific research, culture, business and trade.

Kurdistan already welcomes a Chinese diplomatic presence in Erbil after they established a consulate in 2014.

The CPC expressed high praised of the KDP’s role in Kurdistan and its Peshmerga forces, whose significant victories countering terrorism were warmly approved and emphasized on enhancing relations with the Kurdistan region.

Their visit to Beijing was part of KDP’s Foreign Relations Office constructive activities to build relations with international governments and to rally support assigned to Kurdish issues.
