Hemin Hawrami touched on the difficult conditions experienced by the Kurdistan region at the present time as a result of the economic downturn, the war against terrorism and the vast amount of refugees and displaced persons in the territory of Kurdistan, which requires more international aid.
The Head of KDP's Foreign Relations Office made the comments during a meeting with the head of 'Building Better World Organization', Todd Hendrix.
Mr Hawrami highlighted the latest political and military developments in the region and emphasised on the Peshmerga victories against the so-called Islamic State terrorist organisation, which he says threatens the world's freedom and peace.
He also reflected on the economic situation in Kurdistan where he said they need more assistance in an era that the provincial government cannot secure the full support of the nearly two million refugees and displaced people.
Mr Hendrix, for his part, said the Peshmerga they are an example of valor and courage to defend democracy, and said the people of Kurdistan have suffered many tragedies and injustice, and was always open their doors to their needs.
They concluded the meeting discussing other regional issues.
