President of Kurdistan Region receives USA ambassador to Iraq

President of Kurdistan Masoud Barzani received Stuart E. Jones the Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, to discuss the latest developments in and around the Kurdish region.

During the meeting; the pair spoke on the latest political and security developments in the region and preparations for the liberation process of Mosul.

The other topics on the agenda were the relations between Baghdad and Erbil, along with the strength of Kurdish and US relations. The meeting was also attended by Matthias Mitman US Consul General at the Erbil
