Statement from Barzani Headquarters

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

With profound sorrow, we report that three citizens have lost their lives and others have been injured as a result of heavy rains and flooding in the Chamchamal district and the Laylan sub-district in Kirkuk. We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims. We ask Almighty God to bestow His vast mercy upon the souls of the departed, grant them a place in His spacious paradise, and inspire their loved ones with patience and solace. We also wish the injured a swift recovery.

We call upon the Barzani Charity Foundation to expedite the delivery of aid and assistance to those afflicted and affected as soon as possible, and to do everything in its power to support them.
